David has 25 years experience in the field of health, patient and public involvement (PPI) and patient-centred improvement work across the UK and internationally. 

Don Redding has been head of policy and communications at Picker Institute Europe since 2006. He works with the Department of Health, parliamentarians, think tanks and NHS bodies to ensure that patient engagement becomes an effective policy priority, and that patients’ views are taken into account at all levels of healthcare.

Jeremy practised as an Allied Health Professional and became one of the youngest Trust allied health professional leads in the mid 1980s. Jeremy subsequently moved into general management and has held senior management positions in both Hospital and community services and also was a tutor at Hull Medical School.

Jessie Cunnett is the founder and Director of Patient and Public Involvement Solutions a company that enables people and organisations to work together to make better decisions. Currently working with a diverse group of clients on a broad range of projects and initiatives that strengthen the voice and influence of people in ways that are meaningful and relevant. 

Kevin Sheridan is Director of Community Engagement at the Institute for Health and Human Development (IHHD); a centre for research, innovation and community engagement to promote health and wellbeing, based at the University of East London. 

Nik Barstow is the Involvement Manager for Black Health Agency (BHA). He manages support to Local Involvement Networks in Manchester, Lancashire and Warrington and BHA’s own programme for engaging and involving users of its HIV support and other services.
