Jessie Cunnett
Jessie Cunnett is the founder and Director of Patient and Public Involvement Solutions a company that enables people and organisations to work together to make better decisions. Currently working with a diverse group of clients on a broad range of projects and initiatives that strengthen the voice and influence of people in ways that are meaningful and relevant.
Recent work includes projects for the Department of Health, NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent, NHS Haringey and NHS Kensington and Chelsea, the National Council for Palliative Care, Help and Care, a Host supporting 13 LINks, HAP UK supporting 10 LINks as well as a number of other LINks nationally including Staffordshire, Gloucestershire and Kent and Medway.
Her work is inspired by the people of our everyday lives and is motivated by a desire to challenge traditional power structures to prove their legitimacy.
Jessie lectures at under graduate and post-graduate levels at a number of universities, and is unit lead at London South Bank University on Patient and Public Involvement. Prior to setting up PPI Solutions Jessie was a Director with the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health and led the South of England pilots for Local Involvement Networks (LINks) on behalf of the DH as well as supporting all aspects of Patient and Public Involvement Forums.
