Nik Barstow
Nik Barstow is the Involvement Manager for Black Health Agency (BHA). He manages support to Local Involvement Networks in Manchester, Lancashire and Warrington and BHA’s own programme for engaging and involving users of its HIV support and other services.
Nik has been involved in working with the public on health and care issues since 1990 - as a CHC Chief Officer to 2003 and as the Manager of a large group of Patient and Public Involvement Forums. His particular interests include health issues facing Black and Minority Ethnic communities and dignity in care.
He is currently seconded part-time to the North West Joint Improvement Partnership as a Regional LINks Co-ordinator to support the Networks and help disseminate best practice.
